'Hue and Cry' was just a mockery to retain and grab power corridors : Geelani | KNO

Ridiculing the dubious role played by pro-Indian political parties, including National Conference, Congress, PDP and others during the recent people’s uprising against the abrogation of Article 35-A and 370, chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Geelani said that it was expected from them and that such political parties were responsible for the present grim situation in the state as far as the Muslim majority character of the state is concerned.

Commenting over the statement of Home minister of India about article 35 A, Geelani said that pro-Indian parties in state have virtually  submitted an intentional surrender and their all parroting proved hoax and a pre-planned drama is being enacted by these parties.

  Geelani added that their hue and cry was just a mockery to retain and grab power corridors.

 Geelani blamed pro-Indian parties for exploiting sentiments of innocent people and while calling these political leaders as double dealers, said that since last seven decades the subjugated people are suffering because of their hypocritical behaviour.  

Cautioning people about their deceit, the pro-freedom leader appealed the common people not to fall in line of these political hypocrites and be steadfast and serious about the sacred freedom movement for which whole the nation has offered innumerable sacrifices.

  Denouncing  the arbitrary approach of NIA and  state  puppet regime  against leadership and pro-freedom people ,Syed Ali Geelani said that pro-freedom leadership including Shabir Ahmed Shah, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Pir Saif-ullah, Raja Meraj-u-Din Kalwal, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Shahid-ul-Islam, Nayem Ahmed Khan, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Advocate Miyan Abdul Qayoom, Zameer Ahmad Sheikh, Kamran Yousuf, Sajjad Ahmed, Aga Syed Hassan and Ghulam Nabi Sumji were either unlawfully detained in Tihar jail or summoned by NIA and added their residences are being raided to create scare and harassment .  

 Syed Ali Geelani Wednesday hailing the meritorious services and sacrifices rendered by Aasiya Andrabi and Sofi Fahmeeda said that they created laudable history and we salute them for their steadfastness, persistence & commitment”.

 India's judiciary has failed to bring justice to these brave ladies despite they were repeatedly bailed out by concerned courts, added Geelani.

Syed Ali Geelani while paying tributes to detinues lodged in state and outside state jails including Kot Bhalwal, Udhampur, Kathua, Amphala, Tihar and other detention centers, and appealed ICRC, Amnesty International and international organization for human rights to take their cognizance and use influence for immediate release of all detainees.

  Meanwhile on the directions of Syed Ali Geelani, a  delegation led by Mohammad Yasin Attai and including senior leaders Bashir Irfani, Bashir Ahmad Qureshi, Syed Imtiyaz Shah ,Syed Imtiyaz Hyder and spokesperson Gh Ahmad Gulzar, visited bereaved family of executive member Mohammad Yusuf Nadeem and expressed their solidarity and condolences  .Mohammad Yasin Ataie on behalf of Syed Ali Geelani expressed sympathy and prayed for heavenly aboard of departed soul and forbearance to grieved family to bear this irreparable loss.
